Direct from the Designers’ Desk: Pantry Pizzazz!
MainVue Pantry DesignsIt’s intended to be a mecca for kitchen and entertaining staples – not your home’s version of the Bermuda Triangle. That’s why convenience, organization, light and luxury are intrinsically designed into all styles of Gourmet Kitchen Pantries crafted by our MainVue Homes design team.
With the right MainVue pantry, it’s almost like having a partner in preparing quick or elaborate weeknight meals. Think of it as your sous chef, of sorts, in planning milestone celebrations or last-minute parties. It leaves you free to stock up on after-school snacks, feed beloved pets and tuck small or mid-sized appliances away – freeing up even more space atop your gorgeous primary kitchen Quartz counters.
Each MainVue home in our various collections features a functional, attractive and oversized pantry that complements its gorgeous Gourmet Kitchen – and all of our three essential designs offer features to suit your lifestyle.
Take a look at these smart designs:
Style 1: Pantry
Specially calculated into the natural workflow of the Gourmet Kitchen, this Pantry design is accessed within a working triangle. The result: maximum efficiency. Grab supplies and quickly put them away. It’s that easy.
Heavy-duty laminate shelving is ready for everything from canisters and baskets to oversized bulk items.
Its special appeal: even with the chamber’s convenient location, the contents are tucked out-of-sight from guests.
And bonus beauty? The splashback-style window. Natural light pouring through this horizontal glass makes finding items a cinch – and streams all that daylight into the kitchen’s core through the timber and frosted glass door. It’s nothing short of marvelous.
Style 2: Butler’s Pantry
A bit like the primary Pantry, the Butler’s Pantry is also designed into the workflow of its Gourmet Kitchen. In this style, however, it’s also more of a destination space.
Adjacent to the kitchen central, discover a stylish (Quartz) counter for prep cooking and meal planning here. Craft your shopping list after checking your menu plans and jot down your must-have re-stocking needs. Sturdy shelving and natural daylight grace the Butler’s Pantry, too.
Another layer of attraction here: flexibility to create a “drop zone.” Overloaded with shopping bags? Need a consistent place to find your keys? Want a place for school backpacks or sports bags? The Butler’s Pantry is for you because it’s (often) the passage between your kitchen and garage.
Irresistible from the Gourmet Kitchen: a chic door, which allows homeowners to close off the view of any drop-zone disarray in the Butler’s Pantry from unexpected guests. It’s phenomenal.
Style 3: Grand Butler’s Pantry
Bigger and slightly bolder than MainVue’s other two pantries, this eye-popping design is meant to be used and seen. The Grand Butler’s Pantry captures the best of all other pantry features while boasting looks so sophisticated that they’re meant to be shown off.
Natural daylighting from the chic horizontal backsplash window highlights the thick Quartz counter surfaces until efficient overhead lighting takes over after dusk. Homeowners often consider this a stylish staging area for foods and drinks to be served in the adjacent Gourmet Kitchen.
Its elongated counter space is an ideal place to food-fashion a charcuterie board or display a favorite mid-sized appliance. Air fryer anyone? Functional practicality meets aesthetic appeal with heavy-duty shelving (and maybe a few cabinets for you to hide your own stash of treats from the rest of the family). There’s always room for everyone’s favorite choice of breakfast cereal.
Depending on the layout, a Grand Butler’s Pantry is a destination space – or the drop-zone passageway between the garage and kitchen. Pet owners have been known to use MainVue’s Grand Butler’s Pantry as a “dog door” where pup’s paws can be wiped before they enter the house and a spot for kitten cuisine. It’s beyond brilliant.
Some call their MainVue Pantry the hidden workhorse of their Gourmet Kitchen. Homeowners tell us it’s an architectural masterpiece for everything from soups to nuts (literally and figuratively). Our design team likes to think of it as the hub of the home – with luxury included.
